The Geneva Accords- New Hope for Peace?

From: Fred Bush

Though I have seen nothing in local LA newspapers or on the national TV news programs, a remarkable initiative has been going on in Geneva, Switzerland for the last two years between influential leaders of the Israeli community (none of whom unfortunately currently have political power, though several are present or past members of the Knesset) and influential members of the Palestinian community, who, it is reported, have been given the full support of the Palestinian Authority up to and including Arafat. This initiative has continued the talks that went on at Taba on the Gulf of Elat at the end of the Oslo Interim Agreements and has come to a really surprising and really hopeful but unofficial peace agreement to end the terrible strife.

On October 19th the full text of the agreement, which purportedly will be signed in Geneva on November 4th, was published in the Israeli newspaper, Ha'aretz. I have attached to this email excerpts from that publication which I received from Al-Awda News.
