Middle East Window has published news and analysis about the Middle East since the early 2000s. It began as an independent site on the region's politics and the lives of its communities, including its Christians. Along the way it built up a library of profiles, essays and reporting that scholars, journalists and encyclopedias still cite.
Today the site covers the region as a whole: the politics of power and diplomacy, the economy and energy markets that shape daily life, and the faith communities and people who make the region what it is. We focus on Iraq and the Gulf, Palestine and Israel, Lebanon and Syria, Egypt and North Africa, and Iran and Yemen.
