About Telecom Egypt
Telecom Egypt is the country's incumbent telecoms operator and the main provider of fixed-line and fixed broadband services. Since 2017 it has also offered mobile services under the WE brand.
The company owns a significant minority stake in Vodafone Egypt, which contributes dividend income, and it operates important international infrastructure: Egypt sits on major subsea cable routes between Europe, Africa and Asia, and Telecom Egypt earns revenue from cable landing and capacity deals.
